Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Lorean Labs, Inc. ("Lorean Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of our software-as-a-service video creation platform and related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account or using the Services you confirm that (a) you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, (b) you are at least 18 years old and have authority to bind any entity you represent, and (c) you will comply with all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Our Services

Lorean Labs provides a self-serve online platform (the "Platform") that enables brands, creators, and other users to generate, edit, and export video content for their own use using AI-assisted tools, templates, and cloud processing.

• You control the creative process: upload media, enter scripts, choose templates, and export the finished files.
• You are solely responsible for the content you upload, generate, or distribute.

2. Account Registration & Security

You must create an account to use most features. Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for anything done through your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Content Ownership & Licenses

Your Content. You retain all rights to videos, images, audio, text, and other materials ("Content") you upload or create with the Platform, subject to any third-party rights in material you upload.

Templates & Engine. Lorean Labs owns the underlying software, templates, AI models, and other technology. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them solely through the Platform to create your own videos. You may not extract or re-sell our templates or technology.

Licence to Lorean Labs. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and stream your Content solely to operate the Services and support your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Services you agree not to:

• Upload or create content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringes anyone's rights.
• Copy, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access the source code of the Platform.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means without our permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers.
• Use the Services to build a competing product.

Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or termination.

5. Fees & Payment

Some features are free; others require payment. Prices will be shown before you purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes.

6. Service Changes

We may update, add, or remove features at any time. If changes require new terms, we will notify you as described in Section 11.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach or if required by law. Upon termination your licence ends and we may delete your Content after a reasonable period.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee any specific results, uptime, or that generated videos will meet your needs or comply with laws. You use the Services at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lorean Labs will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or any loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services is limited to USD 100.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Lorean Labs and its affiliates from any claim arising out of (a) your Content, (b) your use of the Services, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any laws.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and, if the changes are material, notify registered users 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration, and you waive the right to a jury trial or class action. Either party may seek small-claims or injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Miscellaneous

• These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Lorean Labs.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business sale or reorganization.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control.
